At Wholesome Health, we take a different approach to healthcare. We spend time getting to know you, your health history, and your goals-so we can create a personalized plan that actually works. We specialize in functional medicine for complex health issues, primary care for the whole family, hormone optimization, pediatric care (including advanced needs), and preventive and integrative health.
What to Expect as a New Patient
Your First Visit to Wholesome Health
Your initial appointment is designed to be thorough, unhurried, and collaborative.
Our goal is to truly understand your health story and create a personalized plan that works for you.
During your first visit, we’ll:
- Review your complete health history, including any previous testing or treatments
- Discuss your main health concerns and what brought you to us
- Talk about your health goals and what success looks like for you
- Conduct an initial assessment based on your needs
- Determine whether functional medicine or primary care is the best fit for your situation
- Discuss which payment model (membership or individual appointments) makes the most sense for your health needs and budget
- Provide clear recommendations and explain your next steps
- Answer all your questions-no rushing, no pressure
Not sure which payment option to choose before your visit?
That’s perfectly fine. Many patients aren’t sure whether membership or drop-in appointments are right for them until we’ve had a chance to review their health history together. Your practitioner will help you make an informed decision based on the complexity of your care, how often you’ll likely need appointments, and what will give you the best value. Memberships require a one-year commitment because healing takes time. After your first year, you can switch to fee-for-service appointments at any time. If you need to switch before your year is up, you will incur a $280 early termination fee.
Pricing & Payment Options
We are an out-of-network practice, which means we don’t bill insurance directly. This allows us to spend more time with you and provide truly personalized care without insurance restrictions.
We accept: HSA/FSA cards, and we provide superbills for insurance reimbursement.

How Appointments Are Determined
We determine whether you need a functional medicine appointment or a primary care appointment based on:
- Your intake form responses
- The complexity of your health concerns
- Clinical judgment and expertise of our practitioners
This ensures you get the right level of care and the appropriate amount of time with your provider.
Membership Plans
Best for Ongoing Care
Perfect if you want consistent support, regular check-ins, and a long-term health partnership.
Advanced Membership – $200/month
- 12-20 appointments per year (based on complexity of care)
- Direct access to your practitioner via patient portal
- Priority scheduling
- Discounts on specialty labs, supplements, and medical treatments
Basic Membership – $150/month
- 10-15 visits per year
- Direct access to your practitioner via patient portal
- Priority scheduling
- Discounts on specialty labs, supplements, and medical treatments
Family Add-Ons:
- Add a second family member: $240/month
- Add third+ family members: $60/month each
Special Programs:
- Biomedical Hormone Program: $200 per visit after initial consultation (includes 4 visits/year + portal access)
